I decided to go wireless after a year when our D-Link router collapsed after the lightning coz’ of typhoon. Yes, lightning can damage our electronics equipment as well as our home appliances. And even our television stuck in the technician for 3 days after its board got burned from power surge.
To continue, let me give you some details about what I got in the market just for Php2, 500 or $52.64. And guess what, I get it from the new Annex Building of SM North, EDSA and its so great to spend time shopping on this mall. The place is so clean and the ambiance is great.
Anyway, The Wireless-G Broadband Router is great for sharing an Internet connection, and connecting all of your computers to each other – without running wires. Don’t ask me why I didn’t get the N+ version instead. HaHa!

Freedom of Wireless - Wireless-G technology creates a fast wireless connection for several computers at once. It’ s easy-to-set-up wireless network lets you access your broadband Internet connection to surf the Web and send email – or connect between computers to share music, photos and other files, or print to your printer. All without wires, from all around your home. No trading cables, no waiting for someone else to finish what they’re doing, no being stuck in one place.
Device Connectivity – It keeps your digital photos or music in one place; share them from any computer on your network. Four built-in 10/100 Ethernet ports make it easy to connect additional wired computers, storage devices, printers, and other wired devices to your network so you can access them from your wireless-enabled computers.
And last but not the least, Security Made Simple – Wireless security and firewall protection designed to help safeguard your home network and computers from most Internet attacks.
I can totally say that WRT54G2 – Wireless-G Broadband Router can help you make your world free of wires. Connection is really fast, easy to install, and most of all – inexpensive!

I’m curious how it works at a distance bigger than 10m and also if it has a wall of 20 cm between router and computer. Have you test it?
