“Love is in the air” as what others said for this month of February, and so I am.
You know why? Well, first I have a blessed year for my new camera. But this post is not about Valentine and yet full of Love. I just found an answer on how to convert my Raw File or CR2 from my new DSLR Canon EOS 50D to Photoshop 3.
Here’s what happen…
After downloading the Camera Raw 4.6 update in Adobe official website and put the said .8bi file in the same root of where the application is installed, I opened the said CR2 file in CS3 and bwalah, its open and ready to convert to JPG.
However, the Camera Raw 4.6 plug-in is not compatible with versions of Photoshop earlier than Photoshop CS3 or versions of Photoshop Elements earlier than Photoshop Elements 5.0 for Windows and Photoshop Elements 4.01 for Mac.
The latest version of the Camera Raw plug-in available for Photoshop Elements 3.0 customers is Camera Raw 3.6. The latest version of the Camera Raw plug-in available for Photoshop Elements 4.0 (Windows) is Camera Raw 3.7.
The said update support for the following cameras has been added.
- Canon 1000D (Digital Rebel XS/EOS Kiss F)
- Canon 50D
- Fuji FinePix IS Pro
- Kodak EasyShare Kodak Z1015 IS
- Leaf AFi II 6
