Sining Makulay: Aliwan Fiesta 2009 Photo Contest

Before anything else, I would like to show you the 2008 winner of this great event for Amateur and Professional alike Photography Contest.

Over 1490 entries were submitted, with 160 passing the preliminary screening by MBC’s Ad-Prom team. The final round was then judged by illustrative photographer Mandy Navasero, One Workshop’s Ross Capili (in his capacity as member of the Executive Council of the NCCA’s Committee on Visual Arts), and renowned commercial photographer Eddie Boy Escudero.

Here’s the list and there takes to give you an inspiration and idea on what to expect and shoot this coming Aliwan Fiesta 2009 Photo Contest.

However, Manila Broadcasting Company will again mount a photography competition in line with this year’s Aliwan Fiesta celebrations. Because the festival literally bursts into a riot of colors that sizzle with the heat of summer, this year’s theme will be “Sining Makulay.”

Would you like to know what is the price are? Well, you will never dissapoint for once in a year celebration because a Php50,000 is waiting for the First Prize, while Php25,000 for the Second Prize, and Php10,000 for the Third Price.
