<p>Through <strong>Vide</strong>o or <strong>Animation</strong>, create an awareness and an understanding about <strong>HIV</strong> that appeals to the youth market. Heighten their curiosity and share the knowledge about HIV!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As we face the continued effects of global warming, pollution and industrialization, it is important to show just how precious our planet is and why we need to preserve it. It was with this thought in mind that <em>Photo District News</em> once again teamed up with <em><strong><a href="http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/traveler-magazine/" target="_blank">National Geographic Traveler</a></strong></em> to introduce the first annual <strong>The Great Outdoors</strong> photo contest—a photographic competition that was deliberately created to celebrate the beauty of nature and humanity’s place in it, whether braving deadly waterfalls in a kayak or simply enjoying the breathtaking view of a garden from a nearby window.</p>
<p>The contest was judged in five categories: Gardens, Islands and Underwater, Outdoor Sports and Activities, Parks and Scenics of the Natural World. The judges’ choices for First Place in each category are shown on the following pages, along with additional images of merit.
