Download.com and its parent site CNET.com have been trusted sources of technology news, reviews, and downloads for well over a decade now…and we’ve kept the exact same look for most of that time.

If you’ve ever cringed at the clash of green and yellow on your favorite download site, take a new look: a new version of Download.com launches today. We’ve restyled the site to perform faster and we’ve given users more control over the presentation, such as a customizable number of search results per page.

The biggest change, however, is the new look, and veteran users of the site (like myself) will probably need some time to get adjusted to the red and black. Luckily for us, the classic green highlights in the “Download Now” buttons and navigation should help us quickly find our way to the downloads, reviews, and information we want.
